Lilacs and Silver

Lilacs and Silver
It has been some time since I have posted.  It has been a long winter here in the Northeast and we are all longing for some sign of spring.  This painting of lilacs was done for a local art show of nothing but flowers.  It was refreshing to see all of our artists painting in the colors of spring and summer.
This is a pastel painting done on Ampersand Pastel Board 16 x 20.  Since painting this I have been inspired to paint more flowers.  I am currently working on a collection of 12 x 12 oil paintings.  Trying hard to be "painterly".

Fall colors in New England

The colors in New England in October are inspiring.  Everywhere you turn there are shades of red, orange yellow and green.  It is sometimes harrd to capture this on canvas or paper.  Here is an attempt to compete with Mother Nature.  This is an original pastel on Museum Boar.

Hold On...This Is Going To Hurt Like Hell

I am keeping a journal of sorts. Artwork rather than a written journal. A way of dealing with the grief. Eventually I hope to publish a book called "In My Shoes" A solo journey through grief. Notice......"through" grief. Hoping to emerge on the other side.

Hold On..........Hold On this is going to hurt like hell!
