Indian Paint Brushes-Original Oil 16 x 20

Put away the pastels for the moment and started back with the oils. Working with pastel has made it a bit easier to work more loosely with the oils.
PS. Couldn't paint any more snow!

Proud Vet-Original Watercolor,Charcoal and Conte

The weather is amazing today and I am tired of painting the snow. I thought it was time to get back to portraits for a bit. This is part of a series I started last year called "A Thousand Stories". This painting is of "Andy" a friends father. He was preparing to ride in the Memorial Day Parade. I titled the painting "Proud Vet" but it is truly we that are proud of those who serve.

Fading October Original Pastel

Another snow scene! This is the beginning of winter, when we have yet to start grumbling about the snow. The leaves haven't fallen and the fading colors shine through.

Growing kind of tired of the endless winter in New Hampshire. This painting was done on a trip to Cape Cod. Kind of made me feel warm again!
